CLICK FOR LARGER VIEW - New Audio Room Under Construction
If you have not visited Georgia Home Theater in a few weeks you need to stop in.  We are in the middle of remodeling our largest showroom into a dedicated 2-channel audio room.  Estimated completion date is August 22.  I know it sounds crazy, but 2-channel audio is making a comeback and growing in popularity.  We can't wait for you to bring in your favorite CD's and LP's and tell us what you think of the new audio room.

Old Record StoreSpeaking of 2-channel audio, this year's "it" purchase for younger music lovers is record turntables.  Fueled by an interest in Vinyl Recordvinyl among younger consumers, turntable sales jumped by 70% from last year.  And while vinyl-record sales are going through the roof in growth, CD sales fell last year by 15%!  Vinyl up, CD down.  Overseas in the UK vinyl-records are even out selling CD's!  Check out this article from The Washington Times about the growing popularity in records.

New Album: Moon Is The New EarthWhile we are on the topic of records, one of Eric's (my brother in-law) favorite bands has their new album coming out on vinyl.  Be sure to check out "Rose Hill Drive" on the Conan O'Brien show tonight (August 29) to hear them.  Eric says Rock-n-Roll fans will love their new album "Moon is The New Earth".  www.RoseHillDrive.com

Sumiko Record PlayersGeorgia Home Theater knows audio and has the most comprehensive line of speakers of any showroom in Georgia.  We showcase and display more B&W speakers than anybody in the South East and we are proud to now display our newest line of speakers to GHT and that is Wilson Audio.  GHT also offers a complete line of audio components by Classe, Rotel, McIntosh and a  full line of McIntosh Record Playersrecord players.  We cover all record player price points from a few hundred dollars to $10,000.  We agree that Ipod/MP3 is great, but there is nothing like the sound of un-compressed pure analog audio on a quality 2-channel system to hear your favorite music.

Please drop by soon to see our new audio room and check out the unique sound of vinyl-records.  I appreciate your business and thank you for making Georgia Home Theater a success.
